Eligibility For CTET Primary Level (Class I to V)
To be eligible, candidates must have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or are currently in their final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (referred to by any name). Alternatively.
Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and have either passed or are currently in their final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (referred to by any name), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or are currently in their final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Candidates can also qualify if they have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or are currently in their final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Eligibility For CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)
Completion of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education is required for graduation and for those who have already completed or are currently in their final year.
To meet the requirements set by the NCTE, a minimum of 45% marks in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) is necessary, along with successful completion or current enrollment in the final year.
For admission into a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) is required. Applicants must also have passed or be in their final year of study.
Candidates must have a Post-Graduation degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Additionally, they should have passed or be in their final year of the three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program.
